Introduction to Stained Glass

On this course you will learn the techniques of copper foiled (tiffany) stained glass to create two small pieces of stained glass work.

Artist and tutor Clare Wainwright will guide you through the four step process of copper foiled stained glass which involves glass cutting, grinding ,foiling and soldering to create two pieces of stained glass. You will learn how to safely use all the equipment such as glass cutters, grinders and soldering irons. All equipment and materials are provided.

There will be a short lunchbreak and so you a welcome to bring a packed lunch or purchase food from the Winterbourne Tearoom. Tea and coffee will be provided.
