Painting and Drawing Flowers

Join artist Claire Leggett in this extended six-week course, Painting & Drawing Flowers, where you’ll explore the variety of flower and plant life at Winterbourne as you develop your artistic skills.

Over the 6 weeks, with our former artist in residence, you will explore a variety of media such as charcoal, watercolours, acrylics, chalk and oil pastels as you study a variety of plant and flower life from the gardens and glasshouses at Winterbourne. With an emphasis on being creative and enjoying the process, this class is suitable for people of any level, whether you’re wanting to learn a brand new skill, or extend your artistic abilities. This is a small-group course, giving you the chance to meet and get to know likeminded creatives throughout the 6-weeks.

Some materials are provided but you will need paper and other basic supplies of your own. A small materials list will be provided in advance of the course starting.
